No, not at all.
It’s a pastiche. I t is pretty impossible to replicate the s h e e r drama of their original K3 (or o f any 935, for that matter) because the 997 shape i s t o o s l i m, too uniform, a n d already flows too well; it is just soft. The more upright windscreen gave the 935 a lot of character, for example.

Porsche’s is just as much a copy of the K3 and I personally find theirs less attractive than Krem er’s K3R
